In 2021, Nico went looking for training pants and nappies that made sense for Australian families. Not bulky disposables sized down. Something that helped toddlers feel the accident and learn from it, without soaking everything in reach.
She could not find it. So she built it. The first Rudie Baby training pants sold out fast. The feedback from parents was immediate: they had been waiting for exactly this.
That was the beginning. It was never going to stop at one product.

Nappies and Training Pants
The original Rudie Baby product. Absorbs accidents without hiding them so toddlers feel and learn. Designed for the full journey from first attempts all the way through. The prints, Whales, Unicorns, Watermelon, made them something kids actually want to wear.
Bobby the Bear: character, book, and brand
Bobby started as a print on the pants. Parents kept asking about him. So we gave him a world: a plush toy, a picture book, and a face that now appears across the whole range, tying everything together in a way a two-year-old can follow.
Bedding: because nights are a whole different problem
Daytime training is one thing. 2am sheet changes are another. We found the bedding problem was massive and completely unsolved. No good leakproof sheets. Crinkly protectors waking the whole house. So we built the Bed Guard and Fitted Sheet from the ground up.
The character who ties the whole range together.
Bobby the Bear started as a small print on a pair of training pants. Kids noticed him. Parents asked about him. So we built a world around him.
The Bobby the Bear book walks toddlers through toilet training in a way they actually connect with. The plush toy gives them someone to bring into the bathroom. The Bobby print appears across the pants, underwear, and bed guards so the whole range feels like it belongs together.
Familiarity helps. Bobby is a small detail that makes a real difference to how families get through the training stage.

We actively work on every product in the range based on real family feedback. Better fabrics, stronger waterproofing, better fit after 50 washes. Product improvement is built into how we operate, not something we save for a relaunch.

We do not chase trends or cut corners on quality. If a product does not make the toilet training stage easier for real families, it does not belong in our range.
